Just Another Meatless Monday

This includes how and what you eat.  The Board of Supervisors in San Francisco now want to make Mondays meat-free. This they claim will have positive impacts on the environment and your health. 1. that eating just two vegetarian meals more per week would have a greater impact on the environment than buying all food sourced locally?

2. that if everyone in San Francisco adpoted the meat-free Monday, it would be equivalent to taking 123,000 cars off the streets of San Francisco?

3. That vegetarian diets are really the green superstars?
